Working with my hands has been instilled in me since I could walk. From Lincoln Logs & Legos to working in the shop with my Dad...I always had some sort of project in the works.
My ability to "make" has molded me into the person I am today. I feel that it is now my responsibility to help others embrace their inner maker. I am super honored to be surrounded by a like-minded community that is ready to get their hands just as dirty!

In a STEM classroom for 13 years, I believe I have just about seen it all! Kindergarten through graduate level, engineering to computer science, the opportunities to share my love of Making have far exceeded my expectations. I am blessed to have been selected as a New York State Master Teacher, a recognition I am certain that I do not deserve. Outside of teaching, you can find me at the local hockey rink coaching or at the top of the nearest mountain. I am happiest lost in the woods with my wife by my side and children close behind. Through Maker Movement, I hope to share my passion for Making beyond the walls of my classroom.

I’m a director of marketing operations and copywriter based just south of Buffalo, NY (#GoBills). Throughout my life and career, I have been fueled by a creative spirit thanks largely to genes passed down to me from my late grandmother, Lois. Professionally, I have been blessed to work with clients in a variety of industries, from financial institutions and floral companies to education, e-commerce, and health and wellness. While my core skills are in copywriting, I also pride myself on developing and directing creative marketing campaigns with work that has resulted in $1 million+ product launches, partnerships with Martha Stewart, and features in Forbes. Despite any success I have had in my career, my family is my biggest accomplishment. It is an honor to be a part of Parker's passion project, working alongside him and my husband to bring the Maker Movement to life!
